The Science Museum's Science Fiction: Voyage to the Edge of Imagination exhibition has been extended...

 

 

...until August 20, 2023, much to the delight of sci-fi enthusiasts. With over 70 objects, the exhibition brings together celebrated works of science fiction and significant scientific innovations in the UK for the first time. The exhibit was created by the talented team at Framestore, the award-winning creative studio responsible for BAFTA and Academy award-winning films.

Visitors can expect to be transported on board an alien spaceship, with a new alien language created exclusively for the exhibition. The experience is heightened by an AI guide that is designed to make the experience immersive and enjoyable.

In addition to the extended run, the museum is also presenting a special Science Fiction Lates event on May 4th, which is celebrated as Star Wars Day. The event promises to be a unique celebration of science fiction, and a must-attend for fans of the genre.
