February Shows - Princess Theatre Torquay
Wed 19 at 7.30pm Sir Ranulph Fiennes
Named by the Guinness Book of Records as ‘the world’s greatest living explorer’, Sir Ranulph Fiennes has spent his life in pursuit of extreme adventure, risking life and limb in some of the most ambitious private expeditions ever undertaken.
Amongst his many record-breaking achievements, he was the first to reach both Poles, the first to cross the Antarctic and Arctic Ocean, and the first to circumnavigate the world along its polar axis.
In Living Dangerously, Sir Ranulph offers a personal journey through his life, from his early years to the present day. Both light-hearted and strikingly poignant, Living Dangerously spans Sir Ranulph’s childhood and school misdemeanours, his army life and early expeditions, right through the Transglobe Expedition to his current Global Reach Challenge - his goal to become the first person in the world to cross both polar ice caps and climb the highest mountain on each of the seven continents.
Wed 26 at 7.30pm The Three Musketeers – A Comedy Adventure
From the award-winning Le Navet Bete, creators of the smash-hit show Dracula: The Bloody Truth, comes a comedy adventure that will have you rolling with laughter from here to the French countryside!
Armed with only a baguette and his questionable steed join hot-headed d’Artagnan as he travels to Paris to become a musketeer. Will things go to plan? It’s unlikely! Featuring hilarious heroics, raucous romances and some bonkers fun with BMX bikes, Le Navet Bete condense Dumas’ 700-page classic into two hours of non-stop comedy gold.
Supported by a top notch band of brothers and sisters including long-time co-conspirator (and funny man director) John Nicholson (Peepolykus, BBC Radio 4) internationally renowned choreographer Lea Anderson MBE (The Cholmondeleys) and critically acclaimed set designer Ti Green (Touching the Void Bristol Old Vic/ national tour) this show is company's biggest and most riotous to date.

For 2020, this brand new 21st Anniversary Tour will include many of the songs that have made Beyond the Barricade the most popular musical theatre concert in the Country.
Now celebrating an incredible 21 Years touring the UK, and firmly established as the longest running Musical Theatre Concert Tour. Featuring past-principal performers from Les Misérables, Beyond the Barricade delivers a wonderful performance of the best loved songs from Broadway and the West End, ending of course with a stunning finale from Les Misérables.
The concert features David Fawcett (Valjean), Andy Reiss (Enjolras & Resident Director for the National Tour of Les Miserables), Katie Leeming (Eponine) and Poppy Tierney (Cosette), who, together with a live band, capture the feel of the original orchestrations of the chosen musicals, allowing the audience to hear the songs as if they were listening to the original performances.
