Shakespeare’s Schoolroom and Guildhall

Shakespeare’s Schoolroom and Guildhall are looking for young artists to use their creative skills to produce a mini exhibition of William Shakespeare.

A clay outline of Shakespeare’s portrait will be your starting point. It’s up to you to add colour and originality to transform this making it stand out from the crowd.

The competition is open to children aged 16 and under.

The winner will receive a voucher of their choice for £50 and £20 for the runner up.

How to enter:

Collect an entry pack from the reception desk at Shakespeare’s Schoolroom & Guildhall as part of your visit (open daily 11am-5pm). Packs are £1 and include your own clay tile

.

Transform with paint, glitter and your imagination then return to the Schoolroom by 31 August to be displayed in the exhibition and entered into the competition.

We’ll announce the "head that wears a crown" on 3 September with the winner invited to the Schoolroom to collect their prize from the Master.

All entries will be featured in a mini exhibition in his Master’s Chamber after which they can be collected by the entrant.
