Shakespeare Distillery is proud to announce the launch of a special 3-Year Aged Honey Rum, created in a unique local partnership with Arden Forest Honey, producers of premium English honey from the ancient Arden Forest in Warwickshire.

Shakespeare Distillery meticulously crafts its Jester White Rum from scratch, starting with the fermentation of British milled molasses, which is then distilled into a smooth, buttery spirit. In April 2021, the independent, carbon-neutral spirit producer began filling a series of ex-industry barrels with their rum, each chosen to impart a variety of exceptional flavours.

 

The Aged Honey Rum, the second release in their limited-edition series, has been matured for three years in a Wild Turkey bourbon cask and expertly blended with award-winning Warwickshire Wildflower Honey.

Arden Forest Honey, a family-run business established in 2008, supplies high-quality honey from hives located across Warwickshire and Worcestershire. Their Wildflower Honey, sourced from the biodiverse Heart of England Forest and ancient Ragley estates, has earned a second star in the Guild of Fine Food awards. Steve Browning, Owner of Arden Forest Honey, remarked, “Collaborating with the award-winning Shakespeare Distillery was a natural fit. It’s wonderful to see our honey featured in another local product, offering customers a taste of the wildflowers flourishing around the distillery and the local area.”
