Historic aircraft flybys, celebrity gardeners and family fun at Belvoir Castle's Flower and Garden Show
Belvoir Castle's much-loved Flower and Garden Show is returning this summer, promising its biggest and best event yet. Taking place on 11 and 12 July 2026, the two-day celebration will welcome well-known faces from some of the UK's favourite gardening programmes, including BBC Gardeners' World presenter Adam Frost and ITV's Love Your Garden star David Domoney, alongside spectacular floral displays, border competitions and plenty of family-friendly activities.
Now in its ninth year, the Flower and Garden Show has become one of the UK's leading gardening events, attracting thousands of visitors with a shared passion for horticulture, garden design and the natural world. This year's show will once again feature inspiring displays, practical workshops, sustainable gardening ideas and plenty of opportunities for visitors to pick up expert advice.
One of the weekend's highlights is expected to be a Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight flypast. Subject to weather conditions, visitors can look forward to seeing historic aircraft, including the Spitfire, Hurricane and Dakota, soaring above the Castle in a moving tribute to those who served during the Second World War while inspiring future generations.

Visitors to the show will have the best views of this incredible display which promises to be a memorable addition to the day."
Adam Frost and David Domoney will return to Belvoir Castle for a second consecutive year, taking to the stage to share gardening advice, design inspiration and stories from their careers before meeting visitors during book signing sessions. Their appearances form part of a packed programme running across both days of the event.
Visitors can also enjoy live demonstrations and question and answer sessions with talented horticulturalists, including Chelsea Flower Show medallist Paula Routledge and experienced garden designer and journalist Karen Gimson. Throughout the show there will also be a wide selection of exhibitors selling plants, gardening accessories and artisan products, alongside food and drink stalls serving locally sourced produce.
Andy Tudbury, head gardener at Belvoir Castle, said “Over the last nine years, The Flower and Garden Show has gone from strength to strength, and it’s been amazing to see it blooms into the full-family day out is today. We’re so pleased that people travel from near and far to enjoy the show, whether they’re keen gardeners or just want to make precious family memories.”
Set on the Castle terrace beside the iconic Regency castle, the show also gives visitors the opportunity to explore Belvoir's beautiful gardens and grounds, including the renowned Rose Garden, home to around 1,000 English roses.
Belvoir Castle continues to attract growing numbers of gardening enthusiasts thanks to its impressive landscapes. The Japanese Woodlands are among the highlights, featuring magnolias, rhododendrons and camellias grown from the original seed collection of Charles Williams from Caerhays Castle in Cornwall and Burncoose Nurseries.
Throughout the weekend, the Retail Village at the foot of the Castle will offer visitors the chance to browse a carefully selected range of boutique shops before relaxing with refreshments at the Belvoir Bistro.
Tickets for the Flower and Garden Show are on sale now through the Belvoir Castle website, with prices starting from £18 for adults and £7 for children. Advance booking is recommended.
