Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience Comes to Aberdeen
A stunning and emotive immersive attraction that brings the works of Vincent van Gogh to life is set to captivate audiences in Aberdeen next summer.
Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience will take place at Aberdeen’s state-of-the-art P&J Live event complex for a limited run from 12 July to 10 August 2025.
Tickets will be available for pre-sale from 9am on Thursday 28 November 2024 for those registered on the Beyond Van Gogh UK website. Producers are encouraging art lovers to sign up by Wednesday 27 November to access pre-sale tickets, which come with a 10% discount. Register now at: www.beyondvangogh.co.uk/aberdeen-announce.
General ticket sales will begin at 9am on Friday 29 November 2024.
The announcement follows a highly successful Scottish premiere at Glasgow’s Scottish Event Campus (SEC) earlier this year, which attracted 50,000 visitors and extended its run by three weeks due to overwhelming demand.
About Beyond Van Gogh
Produced by Annerin Productions and Paquin Entertainment Group, this immersive experience showcases more than 300 of Van Gogh’s masterpieces using cutting-edge technology and a specially curated symphonic soundtrack.
Visitors can wander through iconic works such as The Starry Night, Sunflowers, and Café Terrace at Night as they come alive in a dynamic and dreamlike display.
Described as “hauntingly emotional” and “a wonderful day out” by Glasgow visitors, the exhibition has been seen by over five million people worldwide, including audiences in the US, Canada, and South America. Aberdeen is the first UK city announced for Beyond Van Gogh’s return in 2025.
A Unique Venue
The award-winning P&J Live complex, situated next to Aberdeen International Airport, offers world-class conference and exhibition facilities. Opened in 2019, the £333 million venue is the largest in Northern Scotland and is sustainably powered by renewable energy sources. Its 15,000-capacity arena will provide an extraordinary setting for this immersive art experience.

The experience begins in the Introduction Hall, where visitors connect with Van Gogh’s personal letters to his brother Theo, offering insight into the artist’s thoughts and dreams. The journey continues into the Immersive Room, where Van Gogh’s paintings break free from their frames, enveloping visitors in swirling flowers, bustling cafés, and vivid landscapes projected across walls and floors.
Whether you’re a lifelong admirer of Van Gogh or discovering his works for the first time, the exhibition offers an extraordinary way to engage with one of history’s greatest artists.
