Tuesday 15 July – Cirque du Soleil is thrilled to announce that its much-loved and newly reimagined production OVO will return to London’s Royal Albert Hall in 2026 for a limited four-week engagement. The spectacular celebration of the insect world was last seen in London in 2018, when it became the most successful Cirque du Soleil show in the venue’s history.

First created in 2009, OVO—meaning "egg" in Portuguese—returns with a fresh look, featuring redesigned sets, newly choreographed acts, captivating original characters, updated costumes, and reimagined music. With over 7 million tickets sold in 40+ countries, the show continues to dazzle audiences young and old with its high-energy celebration of nature’s tiniest creatures.

This vibrant production showcases a cast of 53 world-class acrobats and musicians from 25 countries, including two exceptional British talents making a special homecoming:

• Robin Beer, a rare British clown born in Hammersmith, stars as The Voyager, infusing the performance with humour, warmth, and a distinctly British flair.

• Lydia Harper, originally from Warwick and now based in London, returns as Artistic Director. A former circus performer turned creative leader, Lydia has been with Cirque since 2015 and brings her deep experience in physical theatre and movement to this dynamic new version of OVO.
