Daish’s Holidays has confirmed a major winter refurbishment programme across its hotel portfolio, strengthening its offer ahead of the 2026 coach holiday season.

The investment will deliver upgrades to 155 bedrooms, alongside improvements to entertainment, dining, and lounge areas at selected hotels. Work will take place from early January during the company’s traditional winter closure period, ensuring all properties are fully refreshed before reopening for the new season.

Refurbishments will be carried out across a number of established UK seaside destinations, including Weston-super-Mare, Llandudno, Newquay, Torquay, Scarborough, Weymouth, Bournemouth, Eastbourne, and the Isle of Wight.

Paul Harper, commercial director at Daish’s Holidays, said the programme reflects a long-term commitment to quality and guest satisfaction: “Continued investment in our hotels is essential in today’s competitive hospitality market. Guests expect more than comfort alone - they want welcoming spaces, modern facilities, and an experience that feels cared for from arrival to departure. This refurbishment programme ensures our hotels continue to meet those expectations while retaining the value and warmth that Daish’s is known for.”

Planned improvements include:

Sandringham Hotel, Weston-super-Mare – 90 bedroom upgrades and improvements to public areas

Somerset Hotel, Llandudno ten refurbished bedrooms and enhancements to the communal lounge
Barrowfield Hotel, Newquay  refurbishment of up to ten bedrooms and updated entertainment-room furniture
