With summer in full swing and the school holidays fast approaching, now is the perfect time to plan affordable and enjoyable days out. The award-winning Kent and East Sussex Railway is excited to announce the return of their ‘Kids Go FREE' offer* throughout July and August.
This offer allows any child under 16 to travel for free with a fare-paying adult* on the beloved heritage railway. Passengers can journey back in time on a steam train through 10.5 miles of picturesque Wealden countryside, enjoying unlimited trips up and down the line on the day of travel.

Nature Spotting: Use the nature posters on the carriage tables and free A4 nature ID sheets to spot and record wildlife from the train. The railway is a unique nature corridor home to many endangered species, including Turtle Doves, Nightingales, Cuckoos, and various waterbirds.
