There are seven different packages to choose from including serene cruises with Windermere Lake Cruises, the timeless romance of Carnforth Heritage Centre - famous as the filming location of Brief Encounter, a seasonal special to Barton Grange Garden Centre for Christmas shopping and, new for 2026, an indulgent guided tour and cheese tasting experience at Dewlay Cheesemakers.

 

For those who prefer a half day trip, enjoy a quintessential afternoon tea followed by a tour of the hall and time in the hall and gardens.

There is also a seasonal special which is available on weekday mornings in November and December, where guests can tour the hall dressed for Christmas and enjoyed festive refreshments of mulled wine and mince pies.
