Raby Castle has unveiled a brand-new festive group package, featuring the enchanting Raby Castle at Christmas experience - a seasonal celebration bringing the magic of a traditional family Christmas to life within the historic walls of the 14th-century castle.

For the first time in fifty years, groups will be able to explore the castle’s ground floor, which opens specially for the festive season. The immersive installation, created by Lady Barnard, custodian and creative director of Raby Estates, takes visitors on a journey through eight beautifully decorated rooms, each capturing the charm and nostalgia of a bygone Christmas.

The experience tells the story of Christmas Day at Raby, from the early excitement of opening stockings to an elegant evening of dining and games. Every room is filled with festive décor, intricate details, and plenty of photo opportunities - culminating in a stunning table setting ready for a grand festive feast.

Groups can complete their visit with a Festive Afternoon Tea in The Vinery, where panoramic views of Raby Castle are complemented by twinkling lights, festive greenery, and tiers of seasonal treats.

For a full day out, visitors can also browse The Coach House retail space for Christmas gifts and decorations, stroll through the Deer Park, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the remodelled Walled Gardens.

The Raby Castle at Christmas Experience and Festive Afternoon Tea package runs from Saturday 22nd November to Friday 19th December, priced at £45 per person (based on groups of 16 or more).
