Save the date: Royal Three Counties Show returns 12–14 June 2026

The UK’s premier agricultural celebration, Royal Three Counties Show, will return to Three Counties Showground from 12–14 June 2026 with an even bigger and better programme of food, farming and family fun.

The award-winning Royal Three Counties Show is one of the longest-running agricultural events of its kind in the UK, with the first show taking place in 1798. Renowned as a flagship celebration of British farming and countryside living, it appeals both to those living and working in the agricultural and land-based sectors, and to visitors looking to enjoy an unforgettable day out.

When it returns in June 2026, the show will once again showcase some of the finest livestock from across the UK, with more than 8,000 animals expected over the long weekend. A varied equine programme will include show jumping and an impressive 55 Horse of the Year Show qualifying classes, attracting leading competitors and equestrian enthusiasts from across the country.

Visitors will also be surrounded by some of the very best local food and drink from Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire. The Beefy Boys Burger School will make a sizzling return, hosted by Herefordshire’s award-winning chef Anthony “Murf” Murphy. The Food & Drink Festival will feature some of the UK’s finest food and drink traders, alongside special guests hosting live demonstrations on the theatre stage. Meanwhile, the Three Counties Cider and Perry Festival will once again showcase some of the finest cider and perry producers from across the region.

The high-octane STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® Arena will return in 2026 with thrilling displays from elite timbersports athletes. Visitors can expect fierce competition in the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® British Championship, British Rookie Championship, British Women’s Championship and the Pro Championship Qualifier.

A firm favourite with families, the Royal Three Counties Show is expected to welcome more than 4,000 schoolchildren from across the surrounding counties for a fun-filled day of hands-on workshops and interactive sessions. Young visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about farming and the food system, take part in engaging activities and explore future career opportunities in the Future of Farming Rural Careers Fair.

Across the showground, there will be more than 100 free family activities to enjoy over the three days. Workshops will include dried pressed flowers, mosaics, stone carving and Hobby Horse racing, alongside circus skills sessions with Thomes Trilby. Atwell Farm Park will return to educate visitors about popular furry friends such as goats, alpacas, rabbits and guinea pigs, with opportunities to get up close and meet the animals. Little ones can even dig for potatoes for their dinner or try their hand at new countryside skills.

The Future of Farming Theatre, sponsored by Virgin Money, will once again bring together experts and special guests from across the agricultural sector to discuss the issues, challenges and innovations shaping the industry today.

Alongside the packed programme of entertainment and educational content, the show will continue to offer extensive countryside shopping, with exhibitors selling everything from rural apparel and handmade crafts to home and garden essentials, farming equipment and machinery.

Royal Three Counties Show 2026 promises three vibrant days celebrating the very best of British agriculture, innovation and rural life — making it a must-attend event in the countryside calendar.
