900 years. The castle was originally built by William the Conqueror
in the 11th century and has been continuously occupied ever since.
Today, Windsor Castle is a popular tourist attraction and visitors can explore the castle's
magnificent State Apartments, St. George's Chapel, and the Queen Mary's Dolls' House. The castle also houses a vast collection of art and artifacts, including works by Rembrandt, Rubens, and Canaletto.
