Families are invited to step into a world of Halloween magic at Tumblestone Hollow, the woodland adventure playground at Stonor Park on the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire border. This October, visitors can enjoy a brand-new spooky trail, live storytelling and Halloween-themed crafts.

Set among the beautiful countryside of Stonor Park, Tumblestone Hollow will transform its woodland surroundings into a world of Halloween surprises with its new experience, The Hollow Tales and Trails. The event takes place on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th October, followed by the October half-term holiday from Saturday 24th October to Sunday 1st November.

Young adventurers can follow The Hollow Trail, solving eight riddles hidden throughout the themed areas. The spooky locations include Spider Hollow, Witches Clearing, the Skeleton Party and the Ghost Wood.

Children who complete the trail can collect a treat from the Visitors' Centre before gathering for live storytelling at The Hollow Tales. The adventure continues into the woods, where families can discover the Witches’ Hovel.

There is also a pumpkin patch where visitors can choose their own pumpkin before heading to the decorating station to create a Halloween keepsake to take home.

Beyond the seasonal activities, children can enjoy everything Tumblestone Hollow has to offer, from spiralling chutes, tunnels and a soaring zip line to tall towers and ladders. Young explorers can also search the woodland playground for the lost raven. Designed for adventurers of all ages, the attraction includes a dedicated toddler area with a sandpit for messy play.

Louisa Fifield, general manager at Stonor Park said: “Tumblestone Hollow is surrounded by beautiful woodland, and the autumn colours full of vibrant red, yellow and orange on the trees look spectacular at this time of year – it's an incredible setting for some Halloween entertainment.

"Our ethos is to provide families with a value-for-money day out in an exceptional setting and our Halloween trails and activities do just that, offering lots of exciting extras which are the perfect combination of energetic fun and spooky adventures to spark children’s imaginations.

"If aspiring witches, wizards and ghost hunters would like to come along in their best Halloween costumes to embrace this creepy time of year, we'd love for them to do so, as long as they can still safely enjoy all the active fun our woodland playground has to offer.”

When it's time for a break from the crisp autumn air, families can head to the Rumble Hut for authentic wood-fired pizzas and hot drinks. Adults can enjoy an indulgent hot chocolate while watching the children run, jump, climb, whizz and slide around the playground.

The Hollow Tales and Trails will run at Tumblestone Hollow on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th October, and daily from Saturday 24th October to Sunday 1st November.

Online tickets start at £12 for adults, £13 for children over five and £11 for children aged three to four. Children under two can enter free of charge.

Live storytelling sessions take place at 11am, 1pm and 3pm each day. Pumpkins cost £5 each, including decorations.
