Overload the Senses at Cotswold Lavender

Nestled high in the picturesque Cotswold Hills, overlooking the charming village of Broadway, lies a hidden gem that will transport you to the heart of Provence. Each summer, from mid-June to early August, Cotswold Lavender opens its gates, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in a breath-taking display of colour and fragrance.

Spanning 40 acres, the farm boasts 20 acres of lavender, with display beds featuring around 35 different varieties. From the pure white Arctic Snow and delicate pink Rosea to the iconic deep purple Hidcote lavender—named after the nearby Hidcote Manor Garden—the fields showcase an exquisite spectrum of hues.

Beyond the lavender, visitors can explore a traditional five-acre English wildflower meadow, carefully nurtured over the past eight years to provide a sanctuary for butterflies, moths, and other wildlife. Farming in harmony with nature is at the heart of Cotswold Lavender’s ethos, and the flourishing meadows, bursting with poppies, cornflowers, field marigolds, and painted daisies, are a testament to this commitment.

For those seeking further tranquillity, the Beechwood Trail offers a shaded woodland path leading to natural play areas before culminating in a spectacular Viewpoint. From here, visitors can take in sweeping views across the Vale of Evesham, stretching towards the Malvern Hills.

After wandering through the fragrant rows of lavender and vibrant wildflowers, a visit to The Cabin is a must. Indulge in locally made lavender treats, including organic lavender ice cream, freshly baked lavender scones and cakes, and an array of handcrafted gifts. From candles and hand creams to slumber sprays, teas, and even lavender-infused chocolate, each product captures the soothing essence of the farm’s own lavender oil, allowing visitors to take a piece of this relaxing experience home.

Cotswold Lavender provides ample free parking for both cars and coaches. Picnics are welcome, and well-behaved dogs on leads can also enjoy the experience. The farm is a card-only site, with toilet facilities available, including a disabled-access portable toilet. Fields are accessible for rigid mobility wheelchairs and scooters.
